Hadley Beeman is a data architect and government technology advisor. She focuses on building the future: both through code and technical standards, and through government policy. She co-chairs the W3C Data on the Web working group, making the Web's content machine-readable. She has been appointed to the W3C Technical Architecture Group by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, where she advises on the future architecture of the World Wide Web. She has also just finished serving as Digital and Technology Advisor to the UK Cabinet Office and spent two years prior with the UK Government Digital Service.
In her spare time, she and a few friends founded 300 Seconds, an initiative to help digital women gain experience in public speaking.
